Acts is not a New Testament book for the faint of heart. It seems that at every second turn, one of the main characters, St Paul, is ‘in trouble’ and in prison. You would think being unjustly imprisoned this many times would have caused Paul to rethink his strategy. Yet it does not. Why? It was Paul’s hope in the resurrection that kept him going and focused.
