We’re home! After a long day of travelling from NC, unloading the contents of the van in Toledo and dropping off the dog in Bowling Green, we arrived safely at our home in Custar, OH late Wednesday night. We were glad we delayed our return trip an extra day due to severe weather in the WV mountains. The roads were all clear of snow and ice and there were no traffic tie-ups.
We had a good visit with our son James and helped him set up his new apartment. We also had a nice visit with Beth’s mom to celebrate her birthday with family and friends. We also visited with other long-time friends and loaded up the van with the last of our belongings.
We are happy to be home in Ohio, look forward to our move to the new home in Toledo next week and to a new year.
