Growing and Reaching

If you are looking for a church home, we might be looking for each other. Learning about our Christian faith has always been a priority for us. We are committed to missions by getting to know and communicate with missionaries, by giving financially, by going ourselves to serve, and by sending from our own church those who feel called to go. We support local, national, and international mission outreaches. Basic to this is our belief that each of us is called to share our faith with those we contact each day.

Personal and financial support for missions and missionaries has been a focus at Stonebridge since the beginning. We are blessed to be called by God, and it is His plan for Christians to share the Gospel with others — here at home and around the world. The emphasis of our support has always been three fold, reaching out locally and nationally where we can be personally involved, supporting those of our number who are called to go, and supporting outreach of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Though we are aware of many worthy missions needs, we favor use of our modest resources on a few larger gifts, rather than many smaller ones, all the while praying that we would be wise in our choices. We support work on five continents in addition to North America. We support individuals, couples, families. Our missionaries work in religious as well as secular settings. We support efforts to evangelize, to train nationals, and to build church families. We also strongly encourage our own members to participate through short-term assignments.

Local Outreach

Perrysburg Christians United is one of the practical ways our members volunteer their time, energy and resources in support of our community.  Perrysburg Christians United is a group of 12 or so Perrysburg churches formed in 1973. The purpose of Perrysburg Christians United, commonly known as PCU, is to provide for the needs of the community through an active food bank, annual blood drives, crisis assistance, and a Christmas toy  project.  PCU serves individuals and families who live in Northern Wood County, north of State Route 582.
