I am thankful and relieved to know that Beth and Stephen will be moving here soon. Our house in NC will be rented to another family beginning in September. We had hoped to sell it, but it seems the Lord has other plans for the time being.
I plan to fly to NC on the 19th, celebrate our 33rd anniversary on the 20th, and help Beth make final preparations for the movers to pack up our belongings on the 22nd and load them onto the truck on the 23rd. Randy Meyers will be preaching at Stonebridge on the 21st.
Bob and Thelma Nutter have graciously invited us to stay temporarily in their upstairs apartment near Custar, OH until we find other accommodations closer to Perrysburg. We plan to store our belongings temporarily since their apartment is fully furnished.
We’re currently thinking through how we might transport our old basset hound, Spencer, and two cats for the long trip. My brother and his wife have kindly offered their home near Bowling Green as a temporary sanctuary for our pets since they have two dogs and two cats of their own, a big fenced in yard, a garage and a barn. Should be an interesting menagerie!
