In Chapter 14 St Mark clearly exposes the “bravado” of the disciples vs the humility and dependence displayed by Jesus. The message for us? We need to recognize that we need to stop going it alone and start praying more.

Sunday School @ 1:15 PM. The adult Sunday school is studying Jonty Rhodes, Covenants Made Simple, with Pastor Taylor. The children's Sunday school is studying with Brian.

Midweek

Men's Bible Study. The men's Bible Study meets at 7 PM on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at Pastor Taylor’s house. The men will be studying Sinclair Ferguson's The Whole Christ.
Women's Bible Study. The Women's Bible Study meets at 7 PM on the first and third Thursdays of the month at Dorothea's house. The ladies will be studying Christ in the Old Testament.
Prayer Meeting. Wednesdays @ 5:30 PM at Lutheran Church of the Master. We begin with fellowship and a bring-your-own-dinner, followed by our prayer meeting @ 6:15 PM.
